Due to the global size and scale of our business, HH Global has a responsibility to ensure that our supply chain reflects the diverse communities where we operate and the people with whom we work. Today we are proud to announce HH Global’s WEConnect International membership.
WEConnect is a global NGO who work to identify, train, and certify women-owned businesses in more than 125 countries. They connect companies to the incredible WECommunity – a global database of women-owned businesses and resources to support diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts and teach best practices.
As market-leaders in social impact and accountability, we are committed to investing in diversity and inclusion, ensuring that the rights and opportunities of every person within our operation are respected, regardless of their gender, ethnicity, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, or socio-economic background.
One of the four UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which form the foundation of our continued business growth, is SDG #10 – reduced inequalities. To work towards achieving this goal, we have committed to placing 15% of HH Global’s annual spend with small and diverse business suppliers by 2025. With more than 15,000 supplier partners across the world, it’s incredibly important that we continue to track, measure, and increase our spend with a diverse supplier panel.
Being part of the WEConnect community is a fantastic step towards building the diversity in our global supply chain. It also provides an opportunity to educate and support our valued client partners with their social sustainability targets by providing access to tier 1 and tier 2 spend reporting across all key diversity pillars.
