Maureen O’Connell joins HH Global as a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee

We are delighted to announce that Maureen O’Connell has been appointed to HH Global’s Board of Directors, as a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee.

As the Chair of the Audit Committee, Maureen will provide oversight of the financial reporting process, the audit process, the company’s system of internal controls and compliance with laws and regulations.

Maureen is a global business executive, CFO and board director. Throughout her impressive career, spanning over 30 years, she has been highly regarded for her value creation and strategic thinking. Maureen has extensive M&A experience, with her strengths lying in operations and technology. Maureen has previously held a number of executive leadership and board positions at several global public companies across a variety of industries including media, education, digital, retail, technology, professional services, biotech, pharma, homebuilding, real estate and insurance.

Most recently, Maureen was Chief Financial and Administrative Officer for Scholastic Corporation (NASDAQ: SCHL), where she was responsible for all global administrative functions, including Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Technology, Human Resources and Legal. Maureen has also led a number of major transformational strategic initiatives, from Barnes and Noble, a Fortune 500 book retailer, to Gartner, a multibillion-dollar technology advisory business. She has also received numerous awards including CFO Studio’s CFO World Class Award in 2017 and the Treasury and Risk magazine’s 30 Outstanding Women in Business in 2012.
