Continuing to strengthen our commitment to sustainability
We’re proud to announce that HH Global has committed to the British Promotional Merchandise Association (BPMA) StepForward Pledge. It’s the latest example of our determination to lead by example and work with partners to drive more sustainable practices in marketing activation.
Looking forward
Like HH Global, the BPMA is committed to creating a more sustainable future. The association launched the StepForward Pledge in 2023 to help members initiate or improve their Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) values and targets. Each year, members review their pledge and update it based on their progress.
Stepping up
In the face of climate change, businesses have a responsibility to embed sustainability in every aspect of their activities. This means considering the impact our actions have on the planet and the communities that inhabit it. At HH Global, we are signatories of the UN Global Compact (UNGC) and constantly look for innovative ways to support the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
As part of our BPMA Pledge, we outlined some of the key metrics we’re working on with clients and strategic supplier partners to make a big impact while leaving a smaller footprint.
Empowering change
- Engaging colleagues
Education starts at home. Alongside programs and training to introduce colleagues to principles of sustainable design, we’ve provided our client-facing teams with the knowledge and tools to help our clients reduce their environmental impact. We’ve also involved colleagues in voting for the global sustainability projects we support as a business.
- Supporting clients
We help clients understand and reduce their environmental footprint with our Environmental Calculator and insights dashboards. We provide guidance on reduction initiatives and measurable savings, benefiting the planet, strengthening client relationships and creating new business opportunities.
- Working with strategic supplier partners
We collaborate with our strategic supplier partners to improve their environmental performance, using our Sustainable Procurement Framework (SPF) to assess their ESG maturity. This enables us to enhance their business practices with tailored training and resources.
- Setting goals
To chart progress, we have published our ESG targets in areas including leadership diversity, renewable energy and our supplier practices. These public commitments help keep us focused on demonstrable improvements.
Embedding sustainability
In a rapidly evolving world, financial savings and responsibility should go hand in hand, not at odds with each other. With our vision in place, HH Global drives the sustainability agenda within our industry through powerful partnerships. By signing the BPMA Pledge, we are making marketing activation more responsible.
